BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 480-430 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.51 g, 9 h), dumpy incuse type. ϘΡΟ Tripod with legs terminating in lion's feet; to left, heron standing right. Rev. Incuse tripod. HN Italy 2102. SNG ANS 267-8. Nicely toned. Struck slightly off center and with a light graffito on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
